Therapeutic Approach

I combine evidence-based strategies with a flexible, personalized approach—so therapy fits you, not the other way around.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based treatment, emphasizing flexibility and collaboration. I’m trained in both psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I work most often within “third-wave” CBT approaches, mainly acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), as well as incorporating skills from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help you build practical tools for daily life. While I often lean toward a behavioral focus, I also draw on the insights of psychodynamic work, notably ideas from interpersonal-relational theory and attachment theory. I believe there’s no single “right” way to do therapy. By integrating strategies from different approaches, I can adapt our work together to best fit your unique needs, goals, and values, so your therapy truly feels your own.
